Interview: Matt Lucas

Matt Lucas fronts a new C4 series, Reasons To Be Cheerful, on Sunday nights at 7.30pm from April 26. Guests on the first show include Harry Hill (who devised the show and writes it with Matt), Ronan Keating, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Suzi Ruffell, Basil Brush, Roman Kemp, Judi Love and Jamie Laing.

Liverpudlian Allan Finnegan is the third comedian to try their luck on this series of Britain's Got Talent. Though Finnegan is a stand-up with a difference. He is also a baptist minister. 

He is based in the Bootle area of Liverpool and has been gigging since 2012. On the show he performs in a dog collar, although judging by the YouTube clips this is not part of his usual stage outfit.
