News: Rescheduled Tour Dates for Rhys James

Rhys James' 2020 tour dates have moved to 2021.

The Mock The Week regular and star of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Rhys James Is…’ heads back out with his show Snitch. Following its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, Rhys James will be taking the show to venues across the UK during the autumn of 2019, through the spring of 2020, starting with a run at the Soho Theatre from October 1.

News: Rhys James and Isy Suttie Appear On House Of Games

Following Angela Barnes' triumphant week on House of Games two more comedians, Isy Suttie and Rhys James, take on Richard Osman's challenge this week.

Brighton-based Barnes smashed a number of records, notching up the highest ever score and also winning all five episodes - an achievement that nobody else has ever matched in the history of the programme

This week Rhys James and Isy Suttie are up against two sporty opponents, Olympic gold-winning athlete Denise Lewis and former footballer David James.

News: Dave Channel To Broadcast Comedy Shorts From The Edinburgh Fringe

UKTV’s comedy channel Dave, has commissioned a series of shortform comedy programmes which will air on the channel from Monday 12th August. Dave News, produced by Strawberry Blond TV, will comprise 16 acts each delivering a two minute news segment ‘live’ from the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Festival.

News: New Comic Relief Film Featuring Rhys James, Nick Mohammed, Lolly Adefope & More

Comic Relief has launched a new ‘Comic Relief Originals’ YouTube comedy series.

The footage released today, spoofing a Comic Relief brainstorming session, kicks off the series. It stars upcoming comedians Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag, Rovers), Natasia Demetriou (8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown), Rhys James (Mock the Week), Lolly Adefope (Plebs, Josh) and Nick Mohammed (Bridget Jones’s Baby, Absolutely Fabulous, Miranda).

There has been a bit of a buzz about Rhys James in the first week of the Fringe. His debut hour, entitled Begins, feels pretty close to being just right for Edinburgh. It is a conventional stand-up set about conventional subject matter, but with enough bells and whistles to make it stand out in an increasingly crowded market.
