Channel 4 has announced that following a deal between the broadcasters more than 900 hours of VICE’s award-winning long-form content will be available on Channel 4’s on-demand service, All 4.
Superstar comedian Michael McIntyre has become the latest victim of moped crime.
According to a BBC report the host of Michael McIntyre's Big Show was waiting in his car outside his son's school at lunchtime on Monday when a moped with two men on it pulled up next to him, smashed his car window with a hammer, stole his watch and drove off.
McIntyre's publicist says that he is fine. His current Big World tour will continue as planned.
A handwritten script of the classic Two Ronnies sketch has been sold at an auction.
The historic artefact went for £28,000 when it was put up for sale at East Bristol Auctions.
Ronnie Barker wrote the sketch using the pseudonym Gerald Wiley. It has been said that he used the pen name so that material he submitted did not get looked upon favourably because it was knopwn to be by Barker. It was only later that Wiley's true identity was discovered.
BBC Radio 1 is to launch a new comedy podcast starring rising offbeat comic Andy Field. The Andy Field Experience is a fast-paced and surreal sketch podcast "for a new generation of comedy fans" (though presumably an old generation of comedy fan will be permitted to listen to it)..

Absolute Radio has signed comedian and presenter Matt Forde to present the station’s Rock n Roll Football Show. The football entertainment show is packed with an upbeat indie rock soundtrack, goals and a look at the lighter side of the game.

I did wonder for a moment if there was going to be an awful accident because John (Peter Kay) kept glancing at his phone or looking at Kayleigh (Sian Gibson). And in fact the episode did feature a smash, but not in the way I expected. It was caused by Kayleigh getting out of the car to save a hedgehog, causing the car behind to swerve and prang and then for the door of John's Fiat to be sliced off by a passing truck.
