Mae Martin Adds Extra Tour Dates

Mae Martin - comedian, co-writer and BAFTA-nominated star of Channel 4 and Netflix sitcom Feel Good, has added extra dates in Manchester and London to their UK tour due to demand. Mae will tour the UK with their latest show, Sap, beginning at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on 5th October, with an extra date now added on 6th October, and a three-week run at London’s Soho Theatre from 22nd November also added.

Watch Feel Good Season Two Trailer – Date Revealed For New Series

The trailer for the second series of Feel Good, co-written by Mae Martin and starring Martin, has just been released. 

Watch it below. 

Martin also tweeted that the show drops on June 4th on Netflix worldwide.

The series has received considerable critical acclaim, including Best Comedy Series at the Edinburgh TV Awards. It is co-written by Joe Hampson.

Joe Lycett has bagged two awards at this year's Royal Television Society Awards.

The campaigning comedian picked up the award for Best Presenter for his work on the BBC series The Great British Sewing Bee. Judges described him as “warm, approachable and kind, with tremendous enthusiasm for the subject matter”.

And his Channel 4 consumer show Joe Lycett's Got Your Back has won the Formatted Popular Factual Award.

Well it couldn't last for ever I suppose. After a run of comedians winning Richard Osman's House of Games that stretched back to December 2020 the sequence ended last week. Despite there being three comic acts on the show – Sally Phillips, Ronni Ancona and Nathan Caton – they were all pipped by broadcaster Colin Murray.

Show And Tell in association with Curtis Brown are delighted to announce that Mae Martin - comedian, co-writer and star of Channel 4 and Netflix sitcom Feel Good, will tour the UK with latest show, Sap. Beginning at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on 5th October, Mae’s tour of Sap will take in an initial 7 shows, including London’s Leicester Square Theatre and Brighton’s Theatre Royal.

News: Mae Martin Confirms Season Two Of Feel Good Is Coming...To Netflix

Mae Martin, the co-creator, co-writer and star of acclaimed comedy Feel Good, has officially confirmed that there will be a second series.

The news comes amid much speculation about the future of the series that has received rave reviews and award nominations but had yet to have its recommission announced. In fact according to Martin the second series is "coming to Netflix very soon." . She does not mention C4 who aired the first series.

Mae Martin's acclaimed comedy Feel Good has won Best Comedy Series at the Edinburgh TV Awards, which took place today online.

The jury said: “The writing is very strong, it’s funny but also respected and respectful.”

The runners up were, Defending the Guilty, Big Talk Productions Limited for BBC Two; GameFace, Objective Fiction for Channel 4; Mum, Big Talk Productions Limited in association with The Money Men for BBC Two; Sex Education, Eleven Film for Netflix; Stath Lets Flats, Roughcut TV for Channel 4

Martin's debut C4 sitcom, Feel Good, is up for Best Comedy Series. Taskmaster is among the nominees for Best Entertainment Series.

News: Mae Martin Hosts A Night With Guests Including Feel Good Co-Star Charlotte Ritchie

Mae Martin is hosting a party and you are all invited.
 
The star of C4 series Feel Good has gathered the people she finds funniest for some improvisation and lockdown content this Sunday. She is arranging some friends to catch-up with, there’s live music and some poetry, and (most importantly) she’s inviting you to join the party – from your home, wherever you are.
 
This will be two hours of live, online, occasionally-interactive, entertainment.

I have had a lot of creatives popping up in my timeline recently mentioning that they are going to spend their current confinement writing that sitcom they’ve always intended to write. There are even enterprising people offering online write-at-home courses. Well good luck, I’m sure the results will all be brilliant, but please bear in mind that these things take time.
