Could you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your character?
I play Paul Pennyfeather, who is the character at the centre of this mad world. He is expelled from University at the beginning of the story and ends up becoming a teacher, marrying a rich heiress and then goes to prison.
What drew you to this production?
Comedian/actor Jim Tavare's wife Laura has posted an encouraging update on her husband's health following his involvement in a head-on collision earlier this month. He has been able to get into a wheelchair for the first time and recently went outside the hospital where he was reunited with his dog Mr Kippy, who was with him at the time of the accident. The video below captures the soppy moment.
The full ten-act line-up has now been announced for this year's WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards. The final will take place at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on April 10.
