UK-based Canadian stand-up Bobby Mair is headlining a fundraiser at the Colour House Theatre in Abbey Mills on November 29.
Mair has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and more recently with his wife Harriet Kemsley in their own reality TV series Bobby And Harriet Get Married.

The Christmas spirit has already started this year. Not just with the John Lewis adverts but with this comedy. There is no Frankincense or Myrrh but this one-off from Gold starring Johnny Vegas has that feel of snuggling down on a cold night, turning off your brain and having a cosy evening in front of the box.
I've dipped in and out of this latest series of Red Dwarf but I had to make a point of watching Skipper as it features the long-awaited return of Norman Lovett as Holly the computer. Sorry if that has spoilt the surprise for you, but it has been pretty well publicised. And in fact there is another brilliant surprise comeback from the very early days which I won't reveal. But you can tell how devoted the fans in the studio audience are because his face gets a big cheer before he has even said anything.
It's been pretty canny of the BBC to put this whole series out on iPlayer straight away. Let's face it, how many stressed mums are going to feel like having their knackered lives played back to them at 10pm after the kids have finally been superglued into their beds. With iPlayer they can watch it when they are in the mood. But I'd advise everyone to watch it pretty soon, it's hilarious, if a bit painful to watch for parents.
Two BBC programmes starring Ed Westwick have been put on hold in light of recent allegations against the actor.

But a spokesperson for the broadcaster has said "The BBC is not making any judgement but until these matters are resolved we will not include Ordeal by Innocence in the schedules."
