We've all got skeletons in the cupboard. Things we've done for cold hard cash when times were hard. Comedian Michael Legge is no expection. Before he became an angry stand-up comedian he did some television ads. One that has recently surfaced features Legge advertising electronics shop Tandy. In the advert a smiling Legge with a bowlcut coiffure pops up around the shop smiling and encouraging people to buy things like mini-TVs and radio alarms. The one saving grace may be that he doesn't have any lines...

News: 'Allo 'Allo Blue Plaque Unveiled

Surviving members of the cast of 'Allo 'Allo have reunited to celebrate the unveiling of a blue plaque at Lynford Hall, the Norfolk country house in Thetford that served as the filming location for Nouvion town square and the exterior of Café René in the classic BBC sitcom. 

2019 marks the 35th anniversary of David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd's iconic WW2 French Resistance sitcom.

The event also included a gala lunch and and an auction of memorabilia from the series.

They are Lano & Woodley, filming their show FLY, Zoë Coombs Marr filming Bossy Bottom, Judith Lucy filming Judith Lucy vs Men, Tommy Little filming Self-Diagnosed Genius, Tom Walker filming Very Very, Celia Pacquola filming All Talk, Anne Edmonds filming What’s Wrong With You?, Dilruk Jayasinha filming Live and Tom Gleeson filming Joy. Alice Fraser is filming her show Savage on September 10.

News: Killer Of Comedian Jailed For Life

A man who raped and killed Australian comedian Eurydice Dixon has been sentenced to life in prison in a court in Victoria.

Jaymes Todd, 20, pleaded guilty to the violent attack on comedian Dixon in a Melbourne park. Dixon had been on her way home after performing at a nearby comedy gig.

The judge described Todd's crimes as "totally and categorically evil" and went on to say "You waited until Eurydice was well into the dark reaches of Princes Park."

Interview: Janine Harouni

I think it's fair to say that Janine Harouni had a pretty good Edinburgh Fringe debut this August. The London-based New Yorker won the BBC Radio 4 Comedy Award, the Amused Moose Comedy Award and was shortlisted for Best Newcomer in the Dave Edinburgh Comedy Awards. I had an inkling Harouni's tales of growing up with a Trump-supporting dad and having a near-fatal car crash would do well when I interviewed her for the Evening Standard in June.
