TV: Inside No 9, Wise Owl, BBC Two

Sadly it's the final episode of the current series of Inside No 9 this Wednesday. After some dazzling guest stars including Diane Morgan and Jessica Hynes it's Reece Shearsmith that takes centre stage as odd young man Ronnie in this chilling episode which has all the hallmarks of an instant Inside classic.

TV: Inside No 9 – Kid/Nap, BBC Two

Brilliant guest cast tonight. Daniel Mays, Jason Isaacs plus Daisy Haggard who has previously worked with Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton on their previous BBC Two series, Psychoville.

And that's about all I'm going to reveal about this week's episode, entitled Kid/Nap. It's so hard to preview these brilliant episodes I'm not even going to try. Instead I'll just add what the BBC information offers us:

TV: Inside No 9, Nine Lives Kat, BBC Two

No chance of any spoilers for this week's episode, Nine Lives Kat, because we haven't seen it yet ourselves.

This is what the BBC advance information says about it.

"Hard-as-nails detective inspector, divorcee and single mum Katrina is determined to crack the case of the missing boy. But there’s also her drinking, her love life and her inner demons. She doesn’t want help, but it turns up anyway."

TV, Inside No 9: Mr King, BBC Two

A few days ago Inside No 9 co-star/co-creator Reece Shearsmith posted this message on Twitter: "I've read a lot of previews that ruin the up and coming episodes ... they just can't seem to help themselves. So if you want our stories to have maximum effect.. I would say don't read anything in advance."

TV Review: Inside No 9: Merrily, Merrily, BBC Two

It's series seven and six more challenges to write about Inside No 9 without giving anything away. I was lucky enough to see two episodes including this opener with special guest Diane Morgan at the BFI earlier this year and the audience was sworn to secrecy. As far as I know nobody has blabbed about this run from the witty and warped minds of writers/stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton.
