A signed and annotated book of lyrics/music for Jerry Springer The Opera is being auctioned for charity. The item, dating from 2004, is printed and bound and has a vocal score by Richard Thomas with, according to the front page, "some bits by Stewart Lee."

Bids of between £1000 and £10000 are invited. According to the website the highest current bid is £300.

A clip has surfaced of an episode of the show from September 19, 1981, in which presenter Sally James reads out jokes sent in from viewers as part of a competition and one of them is from a "Stewart Lee from Solihull". According to Wikipedia Lee grew up in Solihull and went to school there.
