News: Bill Burr To Play Major Show

US comedian Bill Burr has announced a one-off show in England this summer.

It is at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 6.

He is also doing a shows in Dublin at the 3 Arena on the day before, June 5.


News: Bill Burr Speaks Out About Louis CK – "Six Degrees Of Louis' Dick"

Comedian Bill Burr has made some controversial remarks about the Louis CK scandal, calling it a "witch-hunt".

Burr was speaking on his weekly Monday Morning podcast.

Discussing Louis CK Burr said that "He was 100% wrong but I feel bad for everybody. It's fucking terrible."

"I feel like I'm in a divorce where you know both the mum and the dad."

He became particularly irate when discussing the fallout from the scandal describing it as "six degrees of Louis' dick."

Update: Bill Burr has just added a second night at Eventim Apollo on August 6 and a late show in Edinburgh on August 8. Tickets go on sale on June 3 at 10am.  


American stand-up legend Bill Burr is returning to the UK this summer for a short run of dates.

It is both pleasing and intriguing when a distinctive comedian that you have liked for years suddenly starts to gain wider acceptance. This has definitely happened to Tony Law since he was nominated for a Foster's Award in 2012. Pleasing because he is brilliant, intriguing because there was a time when I thought that Law was way too left field for television with his surreal riffs and 1908 Arctic explorer chic. But it has all fallen into place and he seems to be perfectly at home next to Noel Fielding on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
