News: Elis James & John Robins Leave Radio X

Comedians Elis James and John Robins are to leave Radio X. This Saturday 30th March will be their last show, having started their digital indie show five years ago.

John Robins posted the news on their show's Facebook group, thanking their fans and explaining the reasons.

News: New Show And Tour For John Robins

John Robins, joint winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2017 and co-host of The Elis James and John Robins Show on Radio X, will tour the UK with a brand-new show, Hot Shame from September 2019. Beginning with a six-night run at The Tobacco Factory, Bristol from 2nd September 2019, concluding at Birmingham Town Hall on 30th November 2019 and with a night at London’s Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on 25th October 2019, the tour will take in an initial total of 44 dates.

News: Game Show For John Robins

UKTV’s award winning entertainment channel Dave is making its first programme with VICE Studios, Beat The Internet with John Robins is hosted by the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner (which is lucky as his name is in the title). The new show pits members of the public against each other in a quest to predict how search engines respond to a series of questions – from images to wordplay. The results are both unpredictable and hilarious.


News: Elis James And John Robins Write Book

Comedians Elis James and John Robins are writing a book to be published later this year.

The Holy Vible will be published by Trapeze Books on October 18 inspired by the duo's chats and in-jokes about obsessions, trivia, beer and more on their cult Radio X show.

News: Extra Tour Dates For John Robins Edinburgh Comedy Award joint winner John Robins has added 28 extra shows to his forthcoming UK tour, The Darkness of Robins. The tour will now take in 65 dates around the UK in total. Beginning in Leamington on 25th January 2018 and concluding at Machynlleth Comedy Festival on 4th May 2018. The London show at the Eventim Apollo on April 26 includes "Welsh support", which may or may not be his fellow Radio X presenter Elis James. 

News: Edinburgh Comedy Awards London Shows Announced

Three major London shows have been announced featuring Edinburgh Comedy Award winners and nominees. The shows will take place at the Duchess Theatre in London on October 16, 23 & 30.

News: UK Tour For John Robins

Comedian and Radio X DJ John Robins is setting out on a UK tour in 2018.

The tour starts in Leamington Spa on January 25 and currently ends in Nottingham on March 22.
