News: Second Outing for Aisling Bea Series This Way Up

Aisling Bea has confirmed that there will be a second run for her acclaimed series This Way Up, which she wrote and starred in. 

Bea revealed the news in an interview for Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast. It was the very last face-to-face interview in the series in mid-March before lockdown.

The eight specials will be streamed globally from August 31.

Aisling Bea and James Buckley have both been cast in American sitcom I Feel Bad and NBC has just commissioned a series.

According to Variety the cast will also include Sarayu Blue, Paul Adelstein, Zach Cherry and Johnny Pemberton and will follow Emet, who tries to be the perfect mum, boss, wife, friend and daughter but is "just figuring it out like the rest of us."
