News: Stewart Lee, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Rose Matafeo, Sean Lock, John Robins Play Bristol Comedy Garden

The Bristol Comedy Garden returns to Queen Square this July 3-7 with stand-up luminaries Stewart Lee and Sean Lock leading yet another outrageously good line-up performing at the Southwest’s favourite comedy extravaganza.

Kicking this year off in surreal style is the 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown team captain Sean Lock with the legendary Stewart Lee headlining a fantastic festival finale in the Big Top on the Sunday night, with a whole lot more enlightening entertainment in between. Don’t miss US stand-up sensation and star of Channel 4’s ‘Catastrophe’ Rob Delaney , the multi award-winning talents of Sara Pascoe , Mash Report host and Mock The Week regular Nish Kumar , the riotous storytelling of Royal Variety Performance star Tom Allen , and the raucously funny British Comedy Award winner Aisling Bea, Taskmaster stars Phil Wang and Lolly Adefope , observational master Ed Byrne , Alan Partridge star Tim Key , 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Rose Matafeo and fast-rising newcomers including Rosie Jones and Sarah Keyworth plus many more blisteringly good comedians.

Festival programmer Will Briggs says: “We’re thrilled with the line-up this year and it’s an honour to have so many of my favourite acts appearing. We put a lot of time and energy into trying to get the line-up of each show just right, we want to introduce our audiences to new acts as well as the ones they already love.”

Now in its eighth year, Bristol Comedy Garden pairs award-winning comedy in the seated Big Top with delicious street-food, craft beers, cocktails and more, all set in a fun and relaxed festival atmosphere in the leafy surroundings of Queen Square.

Each year thousands of comedy-lovers from Bristol and beyond make their way to the Comedy Garden to enjoy some absolutely unbeatable entertainment in the heart of the city.
