Jordan Brookes is a comedian who has definitely got a very distinctive talent. Once seen he is never forgotten. He is creative, inventive and not scared to try out new things onstage even though they might not necessarily work.

BBC Three sitcom 'Josh' is to return this September for a second series. Starring and written by Josh Widdicombe (and co-writers Tom Craine and Henry Paker), Josh is back for another six episodes. Joining Josh once again are his flatmates Kate (Beattie Edmondson) and Owen (Elis James) plus their annoying landlord Geoff (Jack Dee).
Amused Moose Comedy has announced the Amused Moose Comedy Award Top Ten 2016 who will compete in the Amused Moose Comedy Award Grand Final this Sunday (21st August 2016) at The Space @ Symposium Hall from 1:10pm. Tickets here.
After two semi-finals the last six comedians in the BBC New Comedy Awards have been confirmed.
The final will be compered by Mark Watson (pictured) at the Edinburgh Fringe from 6pm and will be broadcast live from 6.15pm. This year the broadcast moves from Radio 2 to Radio 4.
Previous finalists include Alan Carr, Peter Kay, Lee Mack, Julian Barratt, Marcus Brigstocke, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert, David O’Doherty and Shappi Khorsandi.
The judges included comedians John Finnemore and Mark Steel.
The new series of Red Dwarf is to return to Dave in September.
Red Dwarf XI will air from September 22 at 9pm, but it will also be available online a week early from September 15 on the UKTV Play website.
Red Dwarf XII has already been filmed and will air in 2017.
The cast will still feature Lister (Craig Charles), Kryten (Robert Llewellyn), Rimmer (Chris Barrie) and Cat (Danny John-Jules).

Richard Wilson has cancelled his Edinburgh Festival Fringe show reviving his acclaimed sitcom character Victor Meldrew after suffering a heart attack. He was due to perform I Don’t Believe It! An Evening With Richard Wilson at the Assembly Roxy for 12 nights from August 16 – 21.
His agent has confirmed that he is in a stable condition in hospital in London.
Last year Adam Hess picked up an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nomination for his debut show. This year he is back and faces the tricky second show syndrome. It doesn’t seem that tricky to Hess though. If anything this show is better than 2015’s breakthrough hour.
BBC Three has announced a fourth raft of Comedy Feeds featuring rising talent. This year's batch includes A Brief History of Tim written by and starring Tim Renkow, Fail featuring Will Merrick, Limbo written by Lucien Young and Joe Parham, Man Like Mobeen written by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan, Pumped written by Stewart Thomson and The JPD3 Show from the creators and stars of Mandem On The Wall.
