Dulwich Hamlet Comedy Club is staging another Comics' Relief gig to raise money for comedians hit in the pocket by the pandemic.
This would normally be my local gig but as it is taking place online anyone in the world can "attend". It takes place on Sunday, May 3 at 8pm and is hosted by Alexandra Haddow.
BBC Comedy Commissioning has launched the Galton & Simpson Bursary for Comedy Writing. At a time when everyone is feeling the effects of isolation it’s particularly apt to celebrate the life and work of two people who originally met in a sanatorium and went on to define what television comedy could be.
Episode five of the current series of Have I Got News For You will air on BBC One this Friday, 1st May at 8.30pm .

Liverpudlian Allan Finnegan is the third comedian to try their luck on this series of Britain's Got Talent. Though Finnegan is a stand-up with a difference. He is also a baptist minister.
He is based in the Bootle area of Liverpool and has been gigging since 2012. On the show he performs in a dog collar, although judging by the YouTube clips this is not part of his usual stage outfit.
