Bill Bailey is in the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The launch show is on BBC One on October 17 then the serious action kicks off on October 24.

Darren Harriott is the host of the latest edition of BBC Three's Stand Up For Live Comedy. It is available on iPlayer from Friday, October 9 and on BBC1 on Monday, October 12 at 10.45pm too. It was recorded at Nortons of Digbeth in Birmingham. The guests are Bella Hull, Kemah Bob and Chris Washington.

Irish star Paddy Raff hosts the second instalment of Stand Up for Live Comedy, which was filmed at CARGO by Vertigo in Belfast and features Funny Women finalist Mary O’Connell (second from left), ‘All Killa No Filla’ podcast star Rachel Fairburn (left)) and local comic Shane Todd (right).
Stand Up For Live Comedy is a new BBC series that showcases the best rising stars in stand-up comedy. Each of the six shows comes from a different club and is hosted by a local comedian. The first show, filmed in Bristol's Lakota Gardens, is hosted by local legend Jayde Adams. The guests are Lauren Pattison, Mo Omar and Tom Lucy.
The shows are released on Fridays on BBC iPlayer and are aired on BBC1 the following Monday at 10.45pm.
