Have you always been a fan of this show?
Nigel Ng was one of a select band of comedians nominated for a Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer prize in summer 2019. His debut show was a big hit at the Fringe and a gala show was followed by a run at the Soho Theatre in February 2020. And, well, we all know what happened next.

Lockdown comedy Staged, with David Tennant and Michael Sheen, returns on the 4th January at 9.45pm on BBC One.
What can you tell us about the new series of Staged?
Michael: David and I are still being ridiculous with and about each other - that’s still very much the tone of it. We have a lot of amazing surprise appearances which I hope people will enjoy as much as David and I enjoyed doing the scenes with them.
