TV Preview: Mock The Week Christmas Special

You can be sure to get some much needed laughs from the Mock The Week episode airing on Monday night.

Dara O Briain and Hugh Dennis feature in a special edition of the topical comedy show featuring seasonal material, fond favourites and previously unseen bits. Here's hoping they weren't originally edited out because they weren't funny enough.

Mock the Week will return to BBC Two at 10pm on Thursday 22nd October 2020. 

The series will run until February 2nd 2021, with a short break in December between episodes airing on 10th December 2020 and January 14th 2021.

News: Mock The Week Returns

Mock the Week will return for its seventeenth series on BBC Two next month. To mark the momentous occasion series regulars, host Dara O Briain and panellist Hugh Dennis, adopted a ministerial power stance (see picture)

New names lined up to appear on the long-running comedy series include Darren Harriott, Suzi Ruffell, London Hughes, Desiree Burch, Rachel Parris, Geoff Norcott and Icelandic stand-up star Ari Eldjarn.

News: Date Confirmed For New Robot Wars With Dara O Briain & Angela Scanlon

The date has been confirmed for the new series of Robot Wars. Dara Ó Briain, Angela Scanlon and commentator Jonathan Pearce return to BBC2 on October 22.

The new series features an all-new competition format, that includes Robot Redemption, and the biggest battle in Robot Wars History, the Ten Robot Rumble…a ten robot, no time limit, last robot standing, fight to the death, to determine who takes the wildcard and final spot in the Grand Final.

Dara O Briain, Katherine Ryan and Simon Amstell have been revealed as the comedy headliners appearing at the Latitude Festival this year.

Latitude Festival takes place on 13th - 16th July in the grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk.

News: All-Star Line-Up Announced For New Series Of Crackanory

The line-up has been announced for the fourth series of Dave's adult-storytelling show Crackanory. The new run, in partnership with Audible, will see one narrator per 30-minute episode reading an extended story. The names this time round are Sheridan Smith, Dara O Briain, Doc Brown, Anna Friel, Mackenzie Crook, Miriam Margolyes, Bob Mortimer and Mel Giedroyc. As before, each story will be brought to life with live action featuring some of Britain’s best comedy actors.
