News: Release For Seann Walsh, Marek Larwood Film

Family comedy 2:Hrs, will be arriving on video on demand from 30th July. The film stars British trio Harry Jarvis (Streetdance: Broadway), Ella-Rae Smith (Into the Badlands) and BAFTA winning Alhaji Fofana (Screwball!) in the lead roles. Celebrated actor Keith Allen and comics Seann Walsh and Marek Larwood will also be contributing to the action.

News: Autumn Tour For Seann Walsh

Fresh from making his debut US TV appearance on Conan, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and self-proclaimed ‘Lie-in King’ Seann Walsh is heading back on tour with his brand new show ‘After This One, I’m Going Home’.  Following a limited run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August, Seann will embark on an epic 51-date tour around the UK from September through to December.

News: Mystery Foot Injury For Seann Walsh

Update 22/11: The Swindon date has been rescheduled for the 5th December - if you had tickets for the postponed show Walsh says that the venue will contact you shortly. And also the swelling has gone dopwn on Walsh's foot.

 

Seann Walsh had to do his show in Hull on Saturday night sitting down due to an unexpected problem.

While travelling by train to the gig after watching the QPR v Norwich football match one of Walsh's feet swelled up to twice the size.

Seann Walsh is the star of two short films.

Yesterday we reported that he is the co-star of a new film with Game of Thrones star John Bradley. 

Walsh is also the star and co-writer of The Drunk.

Game of Thrones’ John Bradley and comedian Seann Walsh have teamed up to star in new film ‘Roger’.

The comedy short is about Stephen (Seann Walsh) who arrives home after six months away to discover his best friend Roy (John Bradley) has replaced him with a ventriloquist's doll called Roger.

News: Seann Walsh Gets The Drinks In

Comedian Seann Walsh will be buying every ticket-holder a drink at the Hertford Theatre this Saturday. This follows his mix-up last September when he had to postpone his gig at the venue because he went to Hereford by mistake.  

In his apology Walsh offered to buy each audience member a drink at the rescheduled date - a promise which he will be honouring this Saturday evening when he finally performs at the correct location to a sold-out crowd of 400 fans.

Stewart Lee has joked in the past that he can’t resist doing a benefit because of the backstage crisps. Well, he’s back this week at the Hammersmith, sorry, Eventim Apollo on Friday as part of the Roar With Laughter fundraiser for the Zoological Society. You can do your bit for endangered species and have a giggle by buying a ticket. The line-up is pretty varied.

News: Seann Walsh Announces UK Tour

Seann Walsh has announced a UK tour for his new show, entitled 28. It follows his run at the Edinburgh Fringe where he is at the Pleasance Courtyard from July 30 - August 24. Tickets for Edinburgh dates here. The national tour starts in Chorley on September 24 and ends in Blackheath on December 20.

Review: Comedy Playhouse: Monks

Well they haven’t uncovered another Steptoe & Son or Are You Being Served? but this recent revival of the BBC’s sitcom-spotting Comedy Playhouse strand has definitely been interesting. Over To Bill tried to mix broad humour with Curb Your Enthusiasm inappropriateness, while Miller’s Mountain felt like Mrs Brown’s Boys stuck up a Scottish hill. So what about the final instalment, Monks?
