News: Rescheduled Milton Jones Tour Announced

Milton Jones's tour dates have been rescheduled for 2021 and tickets are on sale now.

The original dates of his tour, Milton: Impossible, were postponed midway through its run earlier this year. Now, Milton will bring his unique style and increasingly eccentric shirts to venues across the UK, beginning in Worthing on 10th February, with further dates to be announced in due course.

News: New Tour For Milton Jones

Milton Jones is going out on tour. The star of Mock The Week (BBC Two), BBC Radio 4 and Live at the Apollo (BBC One) will be taking Milton: Impossible across the UK in 2020, beginning at Dorking Halls on 23rd January and concluding at Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion on 18th April. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 10th May here.

News: Wells Comedy Festival Line-Up Announced – Lee, Christie, Acaster & Lots More

The Wells Comedy Festival  in association with Brothers Cider has announced its initial line-up for this year's festival. 

Over the bank holiday weekend of May 26-28 England’s smallest city plays host to a ‘weekend-long stand-up jamboree’ (The Guardian), with over 35 comedy shows taking place at four venues in Wells.

TV Review: Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, Dave

We can’t all fit into the green room backstage at comedy gigs where stand-ups shoot the breeze and gossip about each other, but luckily there is always Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled. The latest series returns to Dave tonight to go out nightly after the evening Euro matches.

Joining Davies in the first outing is the starry formation of Stephen Fry, Sandi Toksvig, Sara Pascoe and Alex Edelman. It’s a nice mix of old and new, though there is not much mention of having a past and present QI host in the ranks.

Can’t make it to the Edinburgh Fringe this week? No problem. Set up camp in W1 for the Phoenix Fringe. If Edinburgh is all about diversity, the Phoenix is pretty diverse too. Frankie Boyle is doing a work-in-progress on Sunday and Monday night and Milton Jones is warming up for his next tour on Saturday.

News: Latitude Comedy Line-Up Announced

The Latitude Festival, which takes place in Henham Park, Suffolk from July 17 - 20, has announced the bulk of its comedy line-up today. The main attractions are Dara O'Briain and Milton Jones, while Al Murray will be hosting his Saloon Show, featuring special guests. 

Preview: The Week Ahead Sept 2 - 8

The London comedy circuit is slowly but surely gearing up for a big autumn with two major events at either end of this week. Tonight The Comedy Store hosts Laugh Til It Hurts, a benefit in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The gig could be subtitled Paul The Other Ones, as it seems to have gathered together most of the Pauls on the comedy circuit apart from Comedy Store regular Paul Merton.
