News: Josh Widdicombe's Youngest Fan?

Josh Widdicombe had an unusually young fan at his Nottingham gig on Saturday night.

He explained what happened on a Twitter thread: "Amazing scenes at last night’s tour show in Nottingham. In the first half I thought I could hear crying but thought nothing of it and presumed someone just had a weird laugh. Or one of those classic haunted theatres.

Then I heard it again at the start of the second half and someone in the circle revealed they had brought a one year old to the show!

The Last Leg lynchpin posted a picture of himself on Instagram smiling in his hospital bed, with the caption: "Can highly recommend having your appendix out, absolute time of my life on morphine."

TV Review: Hypothetical, Dave

Dave has a great track record at coming up with off-the-wall comedy shows, from Dave Gorman's Modern Life Is Goodish to, inevitably, Taskmaster (which is going to be mentioned a lot in this piece). Hypothetical is an interesting hybrid. It's as formulaic as any BBC panel show – and features a lot of the same people – but at the same time it comes to the chummy game show template from a distinctly sideways angle.

Bit Much…will see Josh tour the UK from October – December 2019.

Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster are to front a new comedy panel show for Dave.

According to Deadline Hypothetical will test two teams of comedians on their ability to deal with a series of ridiculous scenarios such as "how someone would cope living in a motorway services for a year or how to take a selfie with Nicolas Cage within 48 hours or you die."
