UK Tour For Hal Cruttenden

Hal Cruttenden is back on tour with a brand-new show entitled ‘It’s Best You Hear It From Me’.  The show premieres at the Edinburgh Festival’s Pleasance Courtyard this August before taking in 62 dates, starting on 9th September at Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre and culminating on 21st June 2023 at the Palace Theatre Redditch.

Hal Cruttenden is going back on the road with a brand-new tour of the UK. His It's Best You Hear It From Me tour starts at the Newcastle Tyne Theatre & Opera House on 8th January 2022. He’ll be doing what he does best - reminding us of how much we love stand-up comedy. His previous sell-out tour ‘Chubster’ was extended four times and has only added to his uncontrollable ego, but it does mean that it’s always good to book early.

The main feeling was one of relief. And joy. And delight. And, bloody hell, this Coke is expensive, but who cares? And other positive things. On Friday night Lauderdale House in Highgate had the honour of what they claimed to be London's first post-lockdown socially distanced stand-up gig that isn't a drive-in. 90 people gathered on their tea lawn in designated squares and on a few benches and enjoyed an almost transcendental night of comedy.

Hal Cruttenden is heading out on the road with a new tour entitled Chubster. His daughters chose the title of his new stand-up show. He's now on a diet.

Following a run at the Edinburgh Fringe in August his 40 dates will start on September 13 at the Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington. The tour currently ends at the Ballroom Theatre in Southend on December 6.

News: Hal Cruttenden Joins Primetime Game Show Line-Up

Comedian Hal Cruttenden has been named as part of the line-up of Partners In Rhyme, the new Saturday night family gameshow hosted by Len Goodman for BBC One. The six-part run starts filming this weekend in Glasgow.

The series will see four new celebrities join each episode, as contestants team up to play a series of comedy rounds, all based on rhyming clues. I


News: Hal Cruttenden Gets Another Radio Series

Hal Cruttenden’s Radio 4 Sitcom Hal has been recommissioned. Four more half hour episodes will be recorded next year. Cruttenden said ‘Really excited that I’m being let loose on the airwaves again. It’s not even Christmas and I’ve already got my favourite present.’ 

Hal is co-written with Dominic Holland and co-stars Gavin Webster, Dominic Frisby, Anna Crilly, Ronni Ancona and Ed Byrne. It is produced by Open Mike.

Hal Cruttenden has announced a new tour this autumn with his brand new show. After a month long run at the Pleasance Courtyard for the Edinburgh Festival, the Straight Outta Cruttenden UK tour starts on 11th September at Southend’s Palace Theatre and ends on 5th December at Canterbury’s Gulbenkian Theatre.
