Comedian, business mentor, podcaster, writer and all-round entrepreneur Cally Beaton reaches a milestone with her weekly hit podcast ‘Namaste Motherf**kers’ on 2nd March with her 100th episode. She writes and presents the podcast, launched in 2021, and it is the only podcast where the worlds of comedy, self-help and business collide.

The production will have a press night on 18 May and performances will run until 3 September. This stage adaptation of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 comedy of the same name, will feature each week a very special guest star in the role of Sir Philip (“Pip”) Bin.
The UK Pun Championships Final has taken place at De Montfort Hall as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival.
Eight punsters reached the knockout final and competed against each other in a wrestling ring compered by Jason Byrne (pictured).
The eight finalists were: Ben Emmett, Cosmic Kat, Daniel Edison, Geoff Alderman, Kat Molinari, Lee Brace, Pauline Eyre and Stevie Vegas.
And the comedian crowned winner was Lee Brace, who pipped Daniel Edison in the final.

When I first read that Sky was making a series about a woman fighting sexism in the world of comedy, I expected to see an English version of the award-winning The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, which charted the career of a groundbreaking Joan Rivers-like character. What we get in this six-parter based on the Nick Hornby novel Funny Girl and adapted by Morwenna Banks has certain similarities, mixing social comment and comedy, but with a distinctly English saucy sixties seaside postcard edge to it.
Following her success at Edinburgh Festival Fringe Tiff Stevenson (Mock The Week) is set to take her brand-new show ‘Sexy Brain’ on UK & Ireland tour from 22nd March to 28th May, including venues such as London’s Soho Theatre. <
