News: New Parenting Series The Likely Dads With Russell Kane And Mick Ferry

The Likely Dads is a new, frank and funny series of conversations about parenting from the perspective of fathers, hosted by broadcaster, former Blue Peter presenter and father to twins, Tim Vincent. Tim has undertaken many challenges throughout the course of his life - from painting Blackpool Tower and snow survival training with the army in Norway, to flying in Tornado jets and running the New York marathon. His latest challenge - being the middle-aged father to two-year-old twin boys.

TV Review: Taskmaster, C4

Yes, that's right, in case you hadn't noticed (and in which case where have you been?), Taskmaster is now on C4 instead of Dave. But as the hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne made clear from the outset of the debut on the new channel, little else has changed, apart from the fact that this was recorded under Covid conditions – "I don't like being near members of the public," quipped Davies.

News: BBC To Make Jimmy Savile Mini-Series

The BBC has commissioned the award winning team - Neil McKay and executive producer Jeff Pope (The Moorside, Appropriate Adult) - to make The Reckoning (w/t) produced by ITV Studios for BBC One.

The mini-series will trace the life of Jimmy Savile, a man who rose from working-class origins to become one of the biggest stars of British television, but in death has become one of the most reviled figures of modern history.

News: Jimmy Carr Joins Panel On Major New Show I Can See Your Voice

Jimmy Carr is set to be a member of the panel on a new game show. 

Paddy McGuinness will be hosting I Can See Your Voice and joining Paddy on the series’ celebrity panel will be Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden.

Jimmy Carr says: “I think a silly, crazy, fun hour of telly is just what we all need. And it doesn’t come any more silly, crazy or fun than this.”

News: Second Series for Amelia Gething

Amelia Gething is set to return for another series of her surreal comedy sketch show, The Amelia Gething Complex.  

Produced by BBC Children’s InHouse Productions, the second series will again air on BBC iPlayer, transmitting in 2021 and will once again follow the crazy world of Amelia and her flatmates and friends as they navigate the extraordinary situations life throws at them.
