News: Comedian Publishes Book About Mental Health Based On Play

Writer and comedian Eddy Brimson's new novella Naughty Boy is an exploration of mental health, morality, and politics. This tale jangles the nerves with writing on identity, nature nurture, and the belief that though we may think we are powerless, the only shackles we have placed upon us are our own.

This journey from mental institution to hedonistic weekend of sex, drug and violence poses as many questions as it does answers.

Brimson says: "I’m really excited to have written this story. It explores a lot of issues I believe to be extremely important and relevant to modern society. These days it seems that everybody has, or is offered an excuse for their behaviour, no matter how bad. But sometimes there simply are none, no matter how deep you dig."

The book was previous a stage play starring Brimson.

Brimson is a writer with six best-selling sports books and one previous novel already under his belt. Total worldwide sales of his books to date exceeding 700,000 copies. He is also an international headlining comedian with recent comedy TV appearances including BBC Scotland's Comedy Underground. As an actor Eddy has numerous TV and film credits.
