There was controversy at this year's Oscars ceremony when Will Smith walked onstage and appeared to slap comedian Chris Rock across the face.
This followed comedian Rock making a joke about Smith's wife. He said: "Jada, can't wait for GI Jane 2," referring to the film in which Demi Moore shaved her head – Jada Pinkett Smith has lost hair through alopecia.
In a spin-off of his Misadventures travel series, comedian Romesh Ranganathan turns detective in The Misinvestigations of Romesh Ranganathan. In the first of three shows he attempts to resolve the mysterious death of Jimi Hendrix, the groundbreaking guitarist who was found dead in London in September 1970.
The date has been confirmed for the new series of Travel Man. This will be the first full series hosted by Joe Lycett following a Christmas special in Iceland (the country not the shop) with Bill Bailey.

Hard Cell is a documentary style comedy set in the fictional female prison, HMP Woldsley. Writer and creator Catherine Tate plays multiple characters from Laura Willis, the Governor who believes creativity leads to rehabilitation, to Big Viv, the psychopath lifer. Set over a 6 week period during which the inmates rehearse a musical directed by ex-Eastender’s star Cheryl Fergison. Rehearsals draw together an oddball collection of women as they find their voices, grow in confidence and strengthen their friendships.
