News: Daniel Sloss To Be Interviewed By Richard Herring Tonight

Acclaimed stand-up comedian Daniel Sloss will be interviewed by Richard Herring live on Twitch tonight.

Sloss will be talking about various topics including his imminent Drive-In live shows in London as part of the Drive-In Club, which will be the first major live comedy shows in the capital since the lockdown. He is doing three shows in Brent Cross in north London this weekend.

News: Jason Manford Stand-Up Show Line-Up Announced

The line-up has been announced for the second Jason Manford Presents: The Weekly Stand Up which takes place on Thursday July 2. The show will run online every Thursday at 8pm for the next seven weeks, until 13 August. 

Show number two features Debra Digiovanni, Jena Friedman (pictured), Milton Jones and Harry Hill (pictured), and follows a first show, which The Times said Jason and co did “a fine job of summoning up some of the energy of a real live comedy night.”

News: Comedy Legend Carl Reiner Dies

Comedy legend Carl Reiner has died. He was 98.

Reiner's lengthy career took in writing for comedy greats, creating the Dick Van Dyke Show, directing the hit Steve Martin movies The Jerk and The Man With Two Brains and much more.

He worked regularly with Mel Brooks, famously in the classic The 2000 Year Old Man sketch. Brooks recently celebrated his 94th birthday. 

One of Carl's children is Rob Reiner, the director of This Is Spinal Tap.

News: Alex Edelman Releases Debut Comedy Album

Award-winning comedian and writer Alex Edelman releases his debut comedy album on 10th July, a collection of 22 jokes, entitled ‘Until Now’ via 800 Pound Gorilla Records /Ada Distribution.  Alex says "These are my favorite jokes from my solo shows and TV appearances. Old ones, new ones, red ones, blue ones. I'm so excited as it will finally force people on social media to stop asking me when I'm going to put out an album."
