DVD Review: Harry Hill – Sausage Time

I don’t often see live comedy shows twice but I made an exception with Sausage Time. I enjoyed it so much when I reviewed it I returned with family and friends and it didn't disappoint me, even though I knew what was coming.

DVD Review: Sarah Millican – Home Bird Live

Sarah Millican’s third live DVD finds the South Shields stand-up superstar discussing a radical change in her life. After years of renting flats she has recently bought a house and is delighted because she “really missed going upstairs to bed.” The downside, however, is having to go downstairs to eat, which Millican likes doing. A lot. There is a great gag in this show in which she runs through how many meals one can actually manage in a day if you simply put in the effort.

TV Review: Live at the Apollo, BBC1

I’ve just realised why so many comedians hate Live at the Apollo. There are a heck of a lot of comedians out there who haven’t been asked to appear on the show. Never mind a woman scorned, there is nothing worse than a comedian who fails to get a booking on the TV series that can make you a household name.
