The News Quiz
Miles Jupp is to host a General Election special of The News Quiz on Friday 9 June at 6.30pm. The show is usually recorded on Thursday evenings, but this episode will be recorded just hours before broadcast on Friday lunchtime, allowing Jupp and the panel to be able to comment on the General Election results.
Miles Jupp made his debut as host of The News Quiz last night. The programme was pre-recorded in London on Thursday evening.
Judging by the pictures Jupp certainly seemed to be enjoying himself and did not show much sign of nerves.
He was joined by a panel consisting of comedians Susan Calman, Sarah Kendall, Mark Steel and journalist Danny Finkelstein.
Miles Jupp's debut will be broadcast tonight on Radio 4 at 6.30pm.
Miles Jupp has been confirmed as the new host of Radio 4 topical show The News Quiz.
Jupp replaces Sandi Toksvig, who hosted her last show last week.
His first show will be broadcast on September 18.
