Lucy Beaumont has announced she is adding a third leg to her already extended debut UK tour of stand-up show ‘The Trouble and Strife’ to meet overwhelming demand for tickets. Lucy will now perform the brand-new show across the UK up to Friday 13th December 2024, including extra performances at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, and brining the tour up to 78 dates across the UK.

What made you sign up to Taskmaster?
The money, really. It’s quite good money. And I must admit, I’ve wanted to do it for ages. I’ve been around so many groups of comics and they sit and talk about their time on Taskmaster, and everyone presumed I’d done it already to be honest. But, no.
A lot of fans predicted you would be in it this year.
Can you bake?
I have baked, I have involved myself in the baking process, but no one has wanted to eat said baked goods. I made rock buns and my mum gave me bicarb of soda instead of baking soda and my grandad tried one and frothed at the mouth we though he was having a fit.
Describe your baking style in one word.
Traumatic.
What’s your favourite baked good?
I like them all. Possibly, vicky sponge inches forward.
