News: Michael McIntyre, Katherine Ryan, Frank Skinner, Russell Kane Top Mental Health Bill

Michael McIntyre, Katherine Ryan, Frank Skinner and Russell Kane are some of the major acts appearing at the Heads Together Comedy Night for children’s mental health charity YoungMinds.

Also appearing are Harry Hill, Tommy Tiernan and Jimmy Carr. The one-off gig takes place at the Shepherds Bush Empire on September 18. 

News: Major Tour From Katherine Ryan

Katherine Ryan will tour the UK this autumn with her brand new show Glitter Room. The tour will start on September 21 in Bath. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 2.

The UK-based star recently fronted Channel 4's primetime series, How'd You Get So Rich and is currently co-hosting Comedy Central's Your Face or Mine with Jimmy Carr. Originally from Canada, writer performer and stand-up comedian, Katherine is currently dominating the UK television and live comedy scenes.

News: Russell Kane's Facebook Show Gets 750,000 Viewers

Russell Kane's live Facebook broadcast of his entertainment and discussion show The Kaneing Live has notched up over 750,000 viewers.

100,000 viewers tuned in to Monday night's show when it went out live and the rest have watched the show since then. 

News: Transmission Date For Your Face Or Mine Revival

A date has been confirmed for the broadcast of the new series of dating show Your Face Or Mine.

Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan will be hosting the new version of the old show and it will start on Comedy Central on May 17 at 8pm.

Carr presented the original version on E4 and Channel 4 from 2002.

Dara O Briain, Katherine Ryan and Simon Amstell have been revealed as the comedy headliners appearing at the Latitude Festival this year.

Latitude Festival takes place on 13th - 16th July in the grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk.

My girlfriend walked in on me when I was watching the second instalment of Katherine Ryan’s overview of the wealthy and thought she had caught me watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I think comedian-slash-presenter Ryan might have been teaching the founder of Pimlico Plumbers to twerk at the time.

But Katherine Ryan’s new series touches on a subject that is truly universal. “It’s the question we all want to ask,” she says at the start. And, give or take the few remaining communists in the country, she is probably right. We all do want to know “how d’you get so rich?”.

News: Katherine Ryan Pranks Press Over Bum Lift Story

Comedian Katherine Ryan fooled a number of publications with a tweet claiming that she had had a cosmetic surgery procedure known as a Braziliam Bum Lift.

Ryan posted a picture of herself on social media, claiming that she had asked for a Kylie but it had not turned out as she expected. An accompanying picture showed a bruised posterior. It ran as a genuine story in a number of places.

TV Review: Frankie Boyle's American Autopsy, BBC iPlayer/BBC2

The US Election was only last week and it already feels as if everything has been said about an event that has turned the world upside down. Or, more importantly in this case, that every joke has been made about it. But you can always rely on Frankie Boyle to nudge the taboo barrier a little further, which he does magnificently at the end of this topical show, painting a portrait of a post-Trump apocalypse that makes Bosch’s pictures of hell seem positively benign.
