‘Save The Bill Murray’ – a brand new mockumentary sitcom, starts on Friday 29th January. Filmed at The Bill Murray comedy club during lockdown, this inventive series follows the tale of a comedy club, and the comedians who live and work there, trying to survive when they can no longer put on live comedy.
The people behind the Bill Murray pub in Angel, Islington are attempting to contact comedian Bill Murray in the hope that he might visit the venue when he comes to London in June for a one-off performance.
Comedy legend Bill Murray is to perform onstage in the UK later this year.
But his shows on this New Worlds Tour will be music-based rather than comedy shows. He will be appearing alongside cellist Jan Vogler in London and Edinburgh.
Murray and Vogler met during their travels and became friends in New York. Curious about each other’s artistic world and interests, the actor and the cellist soon had the idea to work together on a project.
