News: Adam Buxton And Jessica Hynes Join Crystal Maze Line Up

Adam Buxton and Jessica Hynes have lent their comedic talents to the new series of The Crystal Maze. They will make cameo appearances in the legendary adventure gameshow, which is back on Channel 4 later this month, hosted by Richard Ayoade.

The series sees teams of five contestants navigate the Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic zones before facing the fans in the iconic Crystal Dome. On their journey through the maze, our adventurers will encounter fiendish challenges and some interesting surprises.

The eight-week run at the Leicester Square Theatre goes from June 5th to July 24th.

Comedian Adam Buxton is taking part in a Channel 4 one-off which aims to show viewers how to make the most of their weekend by exploring the weird, wonderful and wild activities in the UK.

The Great Escapists (working title) will meet the colourful, charismatic and often extremely eccentric characters who have created bespoke experiences.

Diet of Worms, the Irish sketch group behind BBC4 comedy The Walshes, is making a pilot for Radio 4. 

Kült is about a group of five lowly but loveable Irish employees of a massive global furniture corporation based in Dublin - a modern Nordic company which resembles more of an insane religious sect than a traditional business. 

All this and Adam Buxton is a special guest.

News: Adam Buxton Performs At Karaoke Circus Bowie Night

Legendary club night Karaoke Circus was revived for a one-off special last night in Bethnal Green, with stars from the comedy world paying homage to the late Thin White Duke. Highlights included Peter Serafinowicz, Kevin Eldon and Chris Addison doing numbers backed by Martin White and his band. And Adam Buxton paid homage to his late hero and his own late father with a moving, funny intro and this distinctly English version of Kooks from Hunky Dory.

News: The Mighty Bush – Fielding, Buxton, Key & More Play Mini-Fest

Noel Fielding, Adam Buxton and Tim Key are among the acts due to play a four-day mini-festival later this month.

The shows will take place from February 15 - 20 at the Bush Theatre in West London, a small venue in Shepherds Bush better known for staging fringe theatre plays rather than comedy. The shows have been arranged by the management agency PBJ.

News: Big Stars For Major Invisible Dot Birthday Party

Comedy club/promoters Invisible Dot have announced their biggest-ever gig to mark their 7th birthday.

The special event will take place at the Eventim Apollo on 25th January and the line-up features Adam Buxton, bespectacled maverick Harry Hill, cult optimist Josie Long, bookish intellect Sara Pascoe, award winning poet/savant Tim Key, and The Horne Section MC. More incredible acts to be announced soon!
