Actually Rather Good Comedy Festival is a weekend comedy festival of Fringe previews and work-in-progress shows that brings the spirit of the Fringe to Shoreditch every July. Founded in 2012, the festival brings an attentively curated programme of sixty comedians — from big name TV favourites to up-and-coming newcomers — to the labyrinthine settings of Shoreditch Town Hall.

Assembly Puts More Edinburgh Shows On Sale Including Ed Gamble, Richard Herring, Michael Spicer

Assembly Festival has now added a further 90+ shows to its biggest and most dazzling line-up to date which includes returning Fringe favourites, theatrical debuts, international circus, comedy newcomers and the return of The Flick - Assembly’s late-night den off George Square. Dave Chappelle Attacked Onstage

Comedian Dave Chappelle has been attacked onstage during his set.

The controversial comedian was performing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles as part of the Netflix Is A Joke festival when a man appeared to rush the stage and charge into him for no clear reason.

According to reports Chappelle was unharmed and later continued with his act. The man ran behind the screen onstage and was surrounded by security.

Jojo Sutherland to Film Stand-Up Show

Major London Show To Celebrate Life Of Barry Cryer

A major London show is planned to celebrate the life of Barry Cryer, who passed away earlier this year.

Stephen Fry, Harry Hill, Barry Humphries, Bill Bailey, Stewart Lee, Gyles Brandreth and many more will be at the Lyric Theatre in the West End, London on June 13. Michael McIntyre, John Cleese and Eddie Izzard will be there on film according to The Times.
