Interview: Richard Herring On Taskmaster 2020

Taskmaster moves from Dave to C4 for its latest outing. The format remains the same, with Greg Davies and Alex Horne setting comedians a succession of bizarre challenges.

This year's line-up is Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.

Below Richard Herring discusses his experience of taking part in the tenth series.

News: BBC To Make Jimmy Savile Mini-Series

The BBC has commissioned the award winning team - Neil McKay and executive producer Jeff Pope (The Moorside, Appropriate Adult) - to make The Reckoning (w/t) produced by ITV Studios for BBC One.

The mini-series will trace the life of Jimmy Savile, a man who rose from working-class origins to become one of the biggest stars of British television, but in death has become one of the most reviled figures of modern history.

News: Jimmy Carr Joins Panel On Major New Show I Can See Your Voice

Jimmy Carr is set to be a member of the panel on a new game show. 

Paddy McGuinness will be hosting I Can See Your Voice and joining Paddy on the series’ celebrity panel will be Carr, Alison Hammond and Amanda Holden.

Jimmy Carr says: “I think a silly, crazy, fun hour of telly is just what we all need. And it doesn’t come any more silly, crazy or fun than this.”

Interview: Bill Bailey On Strictly Come Dancing

Bill Bailey is in the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The launch show is on BBC One on October 17 then the serious action kicks off on October 24.

He says he is not so much Lord of the Dance as "caretaker of the dance."

News: Second Series for Amelia Gething

Amelia Gething is set to return for another series of her surreal comedy sketch show, The Amelia Gething Complex.  

Produced by BBC Children’s InHouse Productions, the second series will again air on BBC iPlayer, transmitting in 2021 and will once again follow the crazy world of Amelia and her flatmates and friends as they navigate the extraordinary situations life throws at them.

News: Mock The Week to Return This Month

Mock the Week will return to BBC Two at 10pm on Thursday 22nd October 2020. 

The series will run until February 2nd 2021, with a short break in December between episodes airing on 10th December 2020 and January 14th 2021.

News: Last Leg Returns For New Series Starting With Stand Up To Cancer Special

The award-winning The Last Leg makes a welcome return to Friday nights on Channel 4 for a 20th series. The quadruple BAFTA-nominated show is back, live and socially distanced, from The Last Leg studios from Friday 23rd October with a 90-minute Stand Up To Cancer Special at 10pm on Channel 4.

Video: Watch Nabil Abdulrashid In the Britain's Got Talent Semi-Final

London-based comedian Nabil Abdulrashid has made it through to this year's Britain's Got Talent final after a politically-aware semi-final set. Judge Alesha Dixon said: "It's okay to feel a bit uncomfortable with comedy, I think that's what comedy is about and I think you're very brave to take on the subject of racism, very poignant right now."
