VAULT Creative Arts, the charity behind VAULT Festival, have announced the closure of VAULT Festival and the cancellation of plans for their new London home, after failing to secure the funding required to continue.

Comedy Comes To A Pinch Of Vault

Vault Festival Announces First Vault Gala

VAULT - the creators of VAULT Festival, the UK’s leading independent festival of live performance for underrepresented artists - has announced that their first fundraising gala is now on sale. VAULT Gala: Light at the End of the Tunnel, will take place on 19th March in the Assembly Hall of the iconic Shoreditch Town Hall to raise funds towards the opening of VAULT’s new cutting edge central London venue which is due to open later this year.

VAULT Announces New London Venue and Return of VAULT Festival for 2024

The creators of the UK’s leading independent festival of live performance VAULT, have announced they are building a brand-new venue in the heart of London and that VAULT Festival will return in autumn 2024. Earlier this year, VAULT marked the end of its decade-long run of their flagship event VAULT Festival at its original venue launching the search to find and secure a new home.

VAULT Festival features 100s of shows from thousands of the brightest and boldest independent artists working in live performance, and welcomes more than 80,000 ticket holders to venues in Waterloo.

Vault Festival Cancelled

This year's Vault Festival has been cancelled. The organisers have issued the following statement.

"We have made the gut-wrenching decision to cancel VAULT Festival 2022.

Since the emergence of the Omicron variant, we’ve explored numerous options to still be able to deliver our 10th anniversary Festival safely and successfully, all of which were found to put our staff and artists at risk of being subjected to months of stress, uncertainty, and insurmountable financial vulnerability.
