News: Sunday Brunch Guests

More laid back Sunday Brunch chat plus celebrities, grub and booze wrangled by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

Today's guests include Ricky Wilson whose career curriculum vitae ranges from The Kaiser Chiefs to judging The Voice. He's always seemed like an unusual rock/pop star to me. One of my most memorable gig-going experiences was seeing the Kaiser Chiefs at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.

News: Who Is On Sunday Brunch?

After making way for the cricket on C4 last week Sunday Brunch moves back to its regular channel this week although it starts much later than usual. To be honest 11.45am is much more like brunch time for me - I'm barely having breakfast if I'm lucky when it normally kicks off at a dewy-eyed 9.30am.

If you've been watching the new Channel 4 drama It's A Sin, which started on Friday night, firstly you've been doing the right thing. It's brilliant, emotional, sad and extremely touching. And secondly the writer Russell T Davies is one of the guests on this week's Sunday Brunch. Expect him to be chatting about his powerful new series and also, possibly, Doctor Who.

News: Two Live Shows And TV For Nick Helm

Award winning stand-up and TV star Nick Helm will be performing not one but two live shows this autumn/winter.

Nick’s two shows are a tenth-anniversary resurrection of a horror musical and the fourth instalment of his festive bonanza.

Back in 2008 Helm wrote his last play for the Edinburgh Festival, the Musical B-Movie, Drive-In Anthology Horror Tribute ‘I Think, You Stink!’.  It was the only show that Nick wrote between 2001 and 2008 that made any money in Edinburgh. It made £50.
