Comedian Simon Munnery is to have his first exhibition.

The exhibition, at the Ex-Baldessarre Gallery in Bedford, will include paintings, props, jokes, videos and archive material spanning 35 years of stand-up comedy. It will include many of his well-known characters such as Alan Parker: Urban Warrior, with whom Munnery had a cult BBC Radio 1 show, and League Against Tedium, which formed the bases of his BBC 2 television series Attention Scum.

News: Two-Day Comedy Festival At Bloomsbury Theatre

Independent label Go Faster Stripe is staging its first-ever comedy festival. 

Nine comedy shows will take place at the Go Faster Festival at the Bloomsbury Theatre Studio over the weekend of November 7 & 8. The shows will be filmed for future DVD release by the Cardifff-based label.

The Saturday line-up is Robin Ince, Wil Hodgson, Matthew Crosby and Tony Law and the Sunday line-up is Bec Hill, MJ Hibbett, Gavin Osborn, Simon Munnery and one more tbc.

News: BBC Goes Digital on The Fringe

The BBC is to screen experimental short films from top comedians at the Edinburgh Fringe. Diane Morgan's Clickbait, taking place at the BBC's Potterow venue this Sunday, will be hosted by comedian Morgan, best known for her appearances as Philomena Cunk on Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe, and will be streamed online live. Morgan will also be chatting to the digital pioneers about their work during the show.
