Comic legend Mel Brooks is to make a rare appearance onstage in London.
The 91-year-old veteran will be doing a Q&A session at the Eventim Apollo on July 12 following a screening of his classic movie Blazing Saddles.

I went to Angel Comedy Club in Islington last Thursday night because I’d heard Nick Helm was on. I didn’t arrange to be on the guest list, I just turned up as a punter. And like a punter I was turned away because the gig was full.
Comedy legend Mel Brooks is to make a one-off live appearance in London. The show will be at the Prince of Wales Theatre on March 22.
Brooks, now 88, is most famous these days for the musical version of The Producers. Lee Evans starred in the first West End production and a new touring version in the UK features Jason Manford, Ross Noble and Phill Jupitus.
