Multi-media comedy had been done before, but when David Trent appeared on the scene a couple of years ago he turned heads with his angry combination of clips and quips. Or maybe it was just the shouting that attracted people’s attention. No, it was the brutally savage, self-lacerating wit and intelligence with which he combined health and safety films and the inner workings of his frustrated mindset.

The slow burn Kettering stand-up bagged a Foster's Comedy Award nomination for his show Prompt last year and he has returned, guns discreetly blazing, with a new mini-masterpiece, which refines his idiosyncratic technique and quirky stage persona.
