News: Russell Howard Announces Rescheduled Tour Dates

Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed UK arena run, Russell Howard has announce rescheduled UK dates for his Respite World tour, including five shows at London’s Eventim Apollo and seven shows at his hometown venue Bristol Hippodrome, alongside legs in Australia and New Zealand to take place in 2021 for his third and biggest world tour.

Sky has commissioned Avalon to produce a new fast turnaround topical entertainment show from Russell Howard, Russell Howard’s Home Time, which will air twice a week on Sky One and NOW TV on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting this Thursday 9 April at 10.30pm.

Guests include James Bay (who left his bathroom door open while he serenaded Howard), Aisling Bea, Jack Whitehall, Greg Davies and cyclist Geraint Thomas.

Russell Howard, Nina Conti, Flo & Joan and Jason Byrne are some of the names playing the Edinburgh Fringe's annual benefit in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, MC'd this year by John Hastings.

The show takes place on 12th August at the Underbelly in Bristo Square. All ticket income goes directly to The Brain Tumour Charity, a cause close to Underbelly’s heart. Co-founder Ed Bartlam’s son Alfie was just four years old when he was diagnosed with a form of aggressive brain cancer.

The new series, Russell Howard & Mum: Globetrotters, premieres on Comedy Central UK on the 23rd of January at 10pm. The first two series reached 3.7M individuals, with the first series being the highest rated new commission on the channel the year it launched.
