BBC Radio 4 Extra is to celebrate the 42nd anniversary the very first episode of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy with a number of new programmes and retrospectives
A pink vinyl edition of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy will be released on Friday 28th June following the successful release of the first four phases on vinyl earlier this year. The Quintessential Phase vinyl (episodes 23 - 26), is packaged in the lavish style of the preceding Primary Phase, Secondary Phase, Tertiary Phase and Quandary Phase LP releases.
After the sell-out success of Primary Phase on vinyl, the next 12 BBC radio episodes of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy are now available for purchase and pre-order. The Secondary Phase vinyl (episodes 7 – 12) is available to buy now with pre-orders open for the Tertiary Phase vinyl (episodes 13 – 18), releasing on 11th January 2019.
The 1981 TV adaption of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is to be re-released on the 1st October 2018 on DVD and Blu-ray, remastered and up- scaled and with a wealth of new bonus content for fans to enjoy.
