News: Emmy Nominations Announced

The nominations for the Emmy Awards have been announced, with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel picking up 20 nominations and Succession bagging 18. Saturday Night Live and Schitt's Creek both secured 15 nominations.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Schitt's Creek are up for Best Comedy alongside Curb Your Enthusiasm (pictured), The Good Place, Insecure, Kominsky Method and We Do in the Shadows (pictured).

The winners will be revealed on September 20.

News: Fleabag Bags 11 Emmy Awards Nominations

The second series of Fleabag, created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, has picked up 11 Emmy TV Award nominations.

Satirical sitcom Veep has scooped multiple nominations at this year's Emmys. The series is up for Best Comedy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is up fpr Best Actress, Comedy. Tony Hale and Matt Walsh are up for Supporting Actor, Comedy and Anna Chlumsky is up for Supporting Actress, Comedy. Chris Addison is nominated for Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series.

Aziz Ansari's Netflix sitcom Master of None is nominated for Best Comedy and Ansari is nominated for Best Actor in a comedy and Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series.

News: Emmy Wins For Veep & Team

Political satire Veep was one of the big winners at the Emmys last night.

The show won Outstanding comedy series, while it's star Julia Louis-Dreyfus won Outstanding lead actress in a comedy series and Tony Hale won Outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series. Brits Simon Blackwell, Armando Iannucci and Tony Roche won the prize for Outstanding writing for a comedy series.
