The shortlist has been announced for Find Me Funny, the BBC Cymru Wales search for the next generation of comedy writers. From this shortlist up to three new comedy pilots will be made for BBC One Wales and BBC iPlayer.
From 349 submissions the following 8 scripts have been chosen and are now being considered by a judging panel.

In her role as Commissioning Editor, Alex joins Kristian Smith and Kate Daughton on Shane’s team, and her slate will include Cuckoo, People Just Do Nothing, BBC Three Comedy feeds, I Want My Wife Back and Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe.
He will be responsible for leading the BBC Studios Comedy team across the UK in TV, radio and online. He will manage the existing slate of productions and take the lead in developing new hit shows and working with diverse comedy writers and performers.
The BBC has today launched a new way of accessing and keeping classic TV programmes including a number of comedies. The BBC Store enables fans to buy programmes from single episodes to boxed sets and retain them permanently.
