Comedian Rhod Gilbert has been forced to postpone his shows that were due to take place in the New Year. but he has issued a statement with some good news about his ongoing cancer treatment. It is a different medical condition that means the dates have to be rescheduled. Here is the statement in full:

Third Child For Katherine Ryan

Katherine Ryan has given birth to a third child. 

Her partner Bobby Kootstra posted the news and a picture of their baby daughter on Instagram: “Fenna Grace Kootstra. Dec 16, at 12:05am. Mom is incredible! Proving her strength repeatedly through the relatively lengthy delivery at home. We are so blessed.”

Ryan already has an older daughter from a previous relationship and a son since she rekindled her romance with childhood sweetheart Kootstra.

Garth Marenghi Returns to TV – Briefly

Cult horror writer Garth Marenghi returns to our screens on tonight’s episode of The Russell Howard Hour Christmas Special reading a passage from his terrifying festive horror novel. this is claimed to be his first tv appearance in over 15 years.

Marenghi is the creation of Matthew Holness and is best known for his involvement in the cult Channel 4 comedy Darkplace, which also featured early screen appearances from Matt Berry, Richard Ayoade and Alice Lowe.

Janey Godley Announces More Cancer Treatment But She Will Go On Tour

Janey Godley has issued a statement on social media saying that she has to undergo further cancer treatment. Last summer she said that her ovarian cancer had gone.

Posting on Instagram and Twitter she said that cancer was: "back on the cards" and she will now undergo chemotherapy. She explained that her cancer marker had gone up and there was still a bit of disease in her abdomen.
