The winners have been announced for The Comedians' Choice Awards 2023, the Edinburgh Fringe awards voted on by comedy performers.

The winner of the 36th edition of the iconic So You Think You’re Funny? - the UK’s most prestigious comedy newcomer competition – has been announced. Samira Banks is this year's winner.
Chris Donovan and Lizzie Norm came second and third place respectively, with each performer ensuring fans at the final enjoyed an evening of laughter following over 400 initial applicants for the competition.

UKTV has announced Battle in The Box, a ground-breaking new comedy reality gameshow for award-winning entertainment channel Dave and free streaming service UKTV Play.
