Each year, over 10,000 comedy-lovers from across London and beyond make their annual pilgrimage to the iconic National Maritime Museum for Time Out magazine’s ‘favourite London comedy festival’. A sensational series of shows presented in a seated Big Top venue is paired with gourmet street-food and a fantastic selection of bars set within the magnificent UNESCO buildings of Royal Greenwich.

Launched in 2009 by sibling team Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, step-children of the infamous comedy promoter and exhibitionist Malcolm Hardee, the festival has become a key date in London’s comedy calendar gaining a reputation for delivering curated shows starring the biggest and brightest names in stand-up. Will Briggs & Cass Randolph, Festival Producers said: “It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade since we started the festival. At first we didn’t really know what shape it would take. We basically grew up in Greenwich’s famous Up the Creek comedy club, and we wanted to bring the energy of a traditional club to a big and beautiful festival setting. We didn’t dare to dream that we’d still be doing this 10 years on, and we’re excited to see how it evolves in the next 10. We’re ecstatic with our line-up this year and can’t wait till September.”
