News: Roisin Conaty Gets Her Game Face On

Roisin Conaty

Roisin Conaty is to star in a full series of GameFace on E4. In the programme Conaty plays chaotic singleton Marcella, trying to sort her life out with the help of vodka and a life coach played by Mike Wozniak.

The programme was originally made as an online Comedy Blap before going out on C4 in 2014.

According to the British Comedy Guide, quoting BroadcastNow, Channel 4 Commissioner Rachel Springett describes Conaty as a "phenomenally talented writer and performer. It's been a real privilege to work with her since her 2010 Edinburgh Newcomer win, from her original online Blaps, two series of Man Down and now her own much-anticipated sitcom."

In other TV news a third series of Man Down, starring Greg Davies and also featuring Conaty and Wozniak, has been commissioned. Writing on Twitter, Davies said: "Hello there, really chuffed to let you know that 'man down' will be back for a third series next year."
