The Spencer Jones sitcom Mr Winner will not be coming back to the BBC for a second run.

Jones announced the news on social media, tweeting: "I know it’s not important in the grand scheme of things but I wanted to let you know that Mr Winner is not going to have a second series. I had a lovely time making and want to thank Matt Morgan for writing it for me and the BBC for having me in it. Thanks for watching x."

The series had mixed reviews when it launched on BBC Two in March. Beyond The Joke loves everything Jones has done but thought Mr Winner was lacking something when the series aired. Read the full review here.
