News: More Mileage For World's Most Dangerous Roads

Dave's edgy driving show World's Most Dangerous Roads is coming back to screens for a brand new series. Produced by Renegade Pictures for Dave, the show returns with a vengeance as each episode brings together a pair of comedians to send them out on an extraordinary road trip.

The new series has been extended to eight episodes. Existing friendships and rivalries will be tested to their limits, as household name comics get behind the wheel for some of the most perilous conditions, phenomenal landscapes and riveting driving challenges to be found across the globe. David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis (pictured) were among the intrepid guests in the first series.

World's Most Dangerous Roads is produced by Renegade Pictures, commissioned for UKTV by Hilary Rosen, deputy director of commissioning and head of factual, and ordered for Dave by Richard Watsham, director of commissioning, Luke Hales, Dave channel director, and Steve North, genre general manager, comedy and entertainment. World's Most Dangerous Roads is executive produced by Harry Lansdown and Natalie Wilkinson and the series director is Graeme Hart. The series will be distributed by BBC Studios Distribution.

Luke Hales said: "World's Most Dangerous Roads is a firm favourite with the Dave team and our viewers. We love the original series and plan to honour it while making the show even bigger and funnier, with a selection of the brightest UK comics taking on these extreme challenges. Never before have a group of individuals been less equipped to deal with everything these genuinely terrifying roads throw at them."

World's Most Dangerous Roads airs on Dave later this year.
